
PENNSYLVANIA — Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed by an unknown man early Sunday morning in Aliquippa.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, officers were called to the area around 1 a.m. for a reported stabbing. The victim, an adult woman, told investigators she was attacked on Sheffield Avenue and stabbed in the arm.
She was transported to a Pittsburgh hospital, where authorities say she is expected to make a full recovery.
Aliquippa police requested assistance from state police, who are now leading the investigation.
Troopers described the suspect as a Black man believed to be around 30 years old.
