
ILLINOIS — A man was injured after being stabbed during a fight on a CTA Red Line station platform in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood late Thursday night, according to police.
Officers responded to the Morse Red Line station just before 11 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing.
Police said a 56-year-old man was involved in a fight with another man when the suspect produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the hand.
The injured man was transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was reported to be in good condition.
The suspect fled the scene on foot before officers arrived and had not been taken into custody as of Friday morning. Police did not immediately release a description of the suspect.
Area Three detectives are investigating the incident. No additional information was immediately available.
