
TENNESSEE — A man was critically injured in a shooting in southeast Memphis on Sunday afternoon, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Officers responded to a reported shooting in the 6200 block of Flodden at approximately 3:23 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition, police said.
Investigators said the suspect fled the area in a maroon sedan. No additional information about the suspect was immediately released.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been disclosed, and no arrests have been announced.
