TENNESSEE — One person was injured in an early morning shooting in the Westwood area of Memphis on May 1, according to police.
The Memphis Police Department said the shooting occurred on Hawkeye Street near Western Park Drive, close to the Westwood Community Center.
Officials reported that one person was struck and transported to a nearby hospital. The victim’s injuries are believed to be non-critical.
No additional details about the victim or any potential suspects have been released.
