OHIO — A man in his 20s is in critical condition after a shooting Monday night near a smoke shop on Cleveland’s west side, according to emergency officials.
The shooting happened in the area of West 130th Street and Cooley Avenue in Cleveland’s Jefferson neighborhood. Cleveland EMS said paramedics responded to reports of a shooting and transported the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center.
Police taped off the area around the store as officers investigated into the early morning hours Tuesday.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the shooting, and no arrests have been announced. Cleveland police continue to investigate the incident.
The shooting remains under investigation.
