
ILLINOIS — A 14-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Urbana, according to police.
Officers were called to the area of Ivanhoe Way shortly after 4 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. He was transported to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators determined that several people were present when the shooting occurred, but no arrests had been made as of Tuesday evening.
The shooting remains under investigation.
