
TEXAS — A man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a hit-and-run crash early Friday on the city’s Southwest Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the incident occurred just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of Medina Base Road and the Loop 410 access road.
According to investigators, a driver traveling on Medina Base Road noticed a man lying in the roadway and pulled over to check on him. After assessing the situation, the driver contacted emergency services.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious head injuries and a broken leg, police said.
Authorities have not released information about the suspect vehicle, and the investigation remains ongoing.
