GEORGIA — A man was found dead on the front porch of a south Macon home early Thursday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of Burke Street around 1 a.m. after receiving a 911 call about the incident.
When deputies arrived, they found a 43-year-old man dead on the front porch of the home, authorities said.
Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley pronounced the man dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
Investigators have not said how the man died, and the circumstances surrounding the death remain under investigation.
