
TEXAS — Houston police are investigating after a man was found shot to death Wednesday evening near an apartment complex in the Brays Oak area of Houston.
According to police, officers responded to an apartment complex on Creekbend Drive where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said a witness called 911 after seeing the body outside the apartments.
Police also reported finding blood trails at the scene and are working to determine where they came from and where they lead.
Authorities said they have not identified any suspects or determined a motive in the shooting. Investigators also do not know whether the victim lived at the apartment complex.
The investigation remains ongoing.
