
TEXAS — One person is dead and two others were injured after a vehicle collided with a train in southwest Bexar County, authorities said.
Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded just before 7 p.m. Tuesday to the area of Macdona-Lacoste Road near Shepherd Road following reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a train.
Investigators said three adults were inside the vehicle at the time of the collision.
Two occupants suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
A third occupant was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Officials later confirmed that person died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
Investigators are continuing to work to determine what caused the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
