MISSOURI — A fatal crash shut down traffic on eastbound Interstate 670 near U.S. Route 71 early Sunday morning, authorities said.
According to Kansas City Police Department, officers are investigating the crash, which resulted in at least one death.
Traffic officials with Kansas City Scout reported that eastbound lanes were closed following the crash. The roadway reopened around 7:45 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
