TENNESSEE — One person has died following a crash on Interstate 269 in Shelby County Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the crash occurred on I-269 southbound around 3:30 p.m. and involved two vehicles.
Investigators reported that two people were ejected from a vehicle during the crash. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Southbound lanes were blocked as crews responded to the scene.
