FLORIDA — One person was killed Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 eastbound near Holt in Okaloosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7 a.m. when a vehicle traveled off the roadway and into the woodline near mile marker 51.
Authorities said at least one person died in the crash. No additional details about the victim or the circumstances leading up to the crash were immediately released.
FHP said the right shoulder of I-10 eastbound was blocked in the area following the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
