FLORIDA — A 34-year-old woman from Tallahassee was killed and two others were injured in a crash along Interstate 10 in Baker County early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 2:08 a.m. on I-10 eastbound, just east of County Road 228. According to investigators, the woman was driving when she lost control of the vehicle, causing it to leave the roadway to the right.
Authorities said the vehicle struck multiple trees before coming to rest on its side.
The driver and her two passengers—a 15-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man—were transported to a local hospital. The woman later died from her injuries, while the boy and man were reported to have sustained minor injuries.
Officials have not released the identities of those involved. The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
