
WISCONSIN — One person was killed late Sunday night following a two-vehicle crash on the city’s northwest side, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred in the 6000 block of West Hampton Avenue. A 26-year-old driver was traveling northbound on North 60th Street when their vehicle collided with another vehicle carrying a single occupant.
Authorities said the second driver, a 31-year-old, was transported to a hospital with injuries but was later pronounced dead.
The 26-year-old driver was taken into custody at the scene. Officials said charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
