TEXAS — One person was killed and another was injured in a crash near Dallas Love Field late Thursday night, according to Dallas police.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Marsh Lane and West Northwest Highway.
Investigators said a car was attempting to make a left turn onto Marsh Lane when it was struck by a van traveling westbound on West Northwest Highway.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity pending notification of family members.
The driver of the van suffered injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of those injuries was not immediately released.
Police have not said what factors may have contributed to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dallas Police Department.
