TEXAS — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a head-on crash Tuesday morning in Potter County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. on State Highway 136, about five miles north of Loop 335.
DPS said a pickup truck and a passenger car collided head-on. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
One person died at the scene, while another suffered serious injuries, officials said.
The highway was closed for about four hours as troopers investigated the crash and cleared the scene.
Additional details about what led to the collision have not yet been released. DPS said more information is expected later.
