TEXAS — One person was killed in a crash early Thursday morning in central Lubbock, according to the Lubbock Police Department.
Police said officers responded to a report of a crash with injuries around 3:27 a.m. near 45th Street and University Avenue.
Investigators said a vehicle crashed into an apartment complex. The driver was taken to University Medical Center, where the person was pronounced dead.
Additional details about the crash have not been released. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
