PENNSYLVANIA — A 19-year-old Tyrone woman died early Sunday morning after a single-vehicle accident in Tyrone Township, according to Blair County Coroner Ray Benton.
Taylan McGlynn was pronounced dead at the scene on Kettle Road near Wagon Road following the crash, which occurred shortly before 1:45 a.m. The coroner’s office responded to the location for a death investigation.
Authorities determined that McGlynn, one of the occupants in the vehicle, died from injuries sustained in the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident, according to a press release from the coroner’s office.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Sunday.
No further details about other occupants or the circumstances of the crash were released. The investigation is ongoing.
