MISSOURI — A man was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in Franklin County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred at approximately 9:43 p.m. and involved a pickup truck and a utility terrain vehicle (UTV).
According to the report, the UTV was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center of the roadway and collided head-on with a westbound pickup truck.
The 49-year-old man driving the UTV was pronounced dead at the scene. The 62-year-old driver of the pickup truck sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
