OHIO — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Tuesday night near Kalahari Resorts in Erie County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash was reported around 11 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 250, also known as Milan Road, just south of Fox Road in Milan Township.
According to investigators, the crash involved only one vehicle. Authorities have not released details about what caused the vehicle to crash.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of family members.
Roads in the area were closed while emergency crews and investigators worked at the scene but have since reopened.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the fatal crash. No additional information was immediately available.
