
PENNSYLVANIA — A homicide investigation is underway after a 15-year-old boy was found dead following a shooting near a York County park Tuesday night, according to police.
Officers with the York City Police Department were called to the area of Penn Park along West College Avenue around 10:14 p.m. for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they located the teenager suffering from gunshot wounds.
Authorities said the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Police have not announced any suspects or arrests in connection with the shooting.
