
NORTH CAROLINA — A woman died after an overnight shooting at an apartment complex in Durham, according to police.
The Durham Police Department said officers responded to a shooting call just before 2 a.m. Monday on Rochelle Street.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital by EMS, where she was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released the woman’s identity.
Durham police said the deadly shooting remains under investigation.
