
MICHIGAN — One man was killed and another person was injured in a shooting Monday night on Detroit’s east side, according to police.
The shooting occurred June 1 in the 11900 block of Gratiot Avenue. Officers responded after receiving an alert about a shooting and found two men suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived at the scene.
Police said one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim refused medical treatment, and authorities have not released information about his condition.
