LOUISIANA — The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office has identified a 19-year-old who was killed in a shooting along North 35th Street.
The victim, Jeremiah Clark Jr., died following the incident, which occurred Monday night in a neighborhood near the intersection of Gus Young Avenue and North Acadian Thruway. Authorities said the shooting was reported around 10 p.m.
According to Baton Rouge Police, the shooting is believed to have been accidental. However, detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No arrests have been made, and no one is currently in custody, officials said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
