
VIRGINIA — A 47-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening in Accomack County, according to Virginia State Police.
Troopers said the crash occurred around 7:48 p.m. on June 10 on Saxis Road near Hammock Road.
Investigators said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling east on Saxis Road when the rider lost control. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail.
The rider, identified as Christopher J. Taylor of Temperanceville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Virginia State Police said the crash remains under investigation.
No additional details were immediately released.
