SOUTH CAROLINA — One person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Richland County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the crash occurred Tuesday on Wilson Boulevard near Killian Road. A 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling north on Wilson Boulevard when a 2013 Nissan Altima, traveling south, attempted to turn onto Killian Road. During the turn, the Altima struck the motorcycle.
Both drivers, who were the sole occupants of their vehicles, were transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment. The motorcyclist later died at the hospital as a result of their injuries.
The driver of the Nissan sustained injuries, though their condition has not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
