OHIO — A 69-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash earlier this week in Hanover Township, Ohio, according to authorities.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as David Harris. Officials said he died Thursday from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred Tuesday night at the intersection of Ohio 177 and Beissinger Road.
According to investigators, the crash was reported around 9:10 p.m. An Air Care medical helicopter responded to the scene and transported Harris to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities said Harris was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
No one in the other vehicle involved was injured, officials said.
The roadway was closed for approximately two hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
