KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal incident that occurred Saturday in Rockcastle County.
According to officials with Kentucky State Police Post 11, the incident happened along Kentucky 461, also known as Lake Cumberland Road.
Authorities have not released details about the circumstances surrounding the incident, including how the death occurred or the identity of the victim.
The roadway has been closed in both directions as troopers continue their investigation. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
