NORTH CAROLINA — A man is dead after drowning in a lake in Cary on Saturday, according to police.
Officers were called around 2 p.m. to MacGregor Downs Lake near Saint Andrews Lane following reports of a person in the water.
When officers arrived, they located the man and recovered him from the lake. He was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released the man’s identity.
The incident remains under investigation by Cary police.
