
TEXAS — A San Angelo woman was killed after a crash involving a semi-truck in Ector County, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. on May 28 on State Highway 302 at the intersection of West Yukon Avenue.
According to a press release, a semi-truck failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. Transportation officials said a Kia Sportage then struck the front of the semi-truck.
The driver of the Kia, identified as Kennedy Kimberly Kay, 49, of San Angelo, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional injuries were reported in the release.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
