
MARYLAND — One person was killed and two others were injured after a school bus and a car crashed Friday morning in Prince George’s County, Maryland, according to police.
The crash happened on Maryland Route 210 in Accokeek.
Prince George’s County Police said the driver of the car died in the crash. The school bus driver was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Police also said a third driver was treated at the scene, though investigators did not explain how that person was involved in the crash.
No children were on the school bus at the time of the collision.
Investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash. Authorities said it is not yet clear whether the bus belonged to Prince George’s County Public Schools or another school system.
The investigation remains ongoing.
