ALABAMA — A 14-year-old girl was killed in an ATV accident Thursday evening in Marshall County, according to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. on Kelley Road in Albertville.
Officials said the teenage girl was driving the ATV when the crash occurred on private property. She was pronounced dead at the scene after emergency crews arrived.
Authorities have not released the girl’s identity.
Marshall Health Systems EMS, Pleasant Grove Fire Department, Guntersville Police Department and the Marshall County Coroner’s Office Chaplain Service assisted at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
