
OHIO — One person is dead and five others were injured following a three-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Crawford County, according to authorities.
The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. on U.S. 30 east of State Route 598 near Galion.
Officials said a female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene upon medics’ arrival. Two male passengers in the same vehicle sustained critical injuries.
The driver and two male children in that vehicle suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for evaluation. Three individuals in the other two vehicles were not injured.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, Crestline Fire Department, Galion Fire Department, Jefferson Township Fire Department, Crawford County Coroner’s Office, Ohio Department of Transportation, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Enforcement Unit.
The crash remains under investigation.
