KENTUCKY — A man died following a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening near the border of the Highview and Fern Creek neighborhoods, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Police said officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to the area of South Watterson Trail and Stone Bluff Road after receiving reports of a crash involving a vehicle that struck a tree.
When officers arrived, they found a man with severe injuries. He was transported to UofL Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by medical personnel.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is leading the investigation into the crash.
