NORTH CAROLINA — A driver has died after crashing into a building in Pineville, according to authorities.
The Pineville Police Department responded to the scene just before 9:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving a vehicle striking a building shared by Town Hall and the Public Library.
Officials confirmed the driver died as a result of the crash. The identity of the driver has not been released.
No additional details about what led to the crash have been provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
