
OHIO — A Toledo man died after a single-vehicle crash Friday morning in Sandusky County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. on State Route 590 near milepost 6 in Jackson Township.
James Stevenson, 69, of Toledo, was driving a pickup truck north on State Route 590 when the vehicle traveled off the side of the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation.
According to OSHP, the pickup continued through a farm field before striking a row of trees.
Stevenson was transported to a hospital for treatment but later died from his injuries.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
