FLORIDA — A 76-year-old man was killed Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Century, according to authorities.
The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. on the 9000 block of North Century Boulevard near Henry Street in Escambia County.
The pedestrian was hit by a car and died as a result of the crash. The victim was identified only as a 76-year-old man.
Authorities said the driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details have been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
