FLORIDA — An 85-year-old Seminole woman died after she was struck by a utility trailer while walking Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Bellewood Avenue North and 136th Street North in Seminole.
Investigators said a 57-year-old man was driving a Toyota Tundra while towing a trailer when the trailer struck the woman as she was walking along the edge of the roadway.
The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the woman’s identity.
No injuries to the driver were reported.
The Florida Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
