OHIO — A woman is dead after being struck by a USPS delivery vehicle early Wednesday morning in St. Bernard, according to police.
Officers responded around 2:09 a.m. to the 4700 block of Vine Street after reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old woman suffering from serious injuries.
Police said the woman was struck outside of a marked crosswalk by a USPS delivery vehicle.
She was taken to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Vine Street was temporarily closed while authorities investigated the crash and reopened around 4:30 a.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
