OHIO — A drug trafficking investigation in Preble County has led to the arrest of one man and the seizure of multiple illegal substances, firearms, and other items, according to officials.

Detectives executed a search warrant in the 5000 block of State Route 320, south of New Paris, as part of an ongoing trafficking investigation. Authorities said the search resulted in the seizure of approximately 38 grams of suspected cocaine, 25 pounds of suspected marijuana, and more than 600 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) vapes and cigars.

Investigators also reported recovering multiple firearms, two vehicles, cash, and more than 100 THC cartridges or vials, along with THC oil and resin.

Officials identified the suspect as 30-year-old Elisha McCracken, who was arrested at the scene.

On May 5, a Preble County Grand Jury indicted McCracken on several charges, including possession of cocaine, trafficking in hashish, possession of marijuana, possession of hashish, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Authorities said McCracken has since posted bond. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as they become available.
