NORTH CAROLINA — A Goldsboro man is being held under a $2 million bond following a drug trafficking investigation that resulted in more than a dozen charges, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said an investigation into 46-year-old Damien Robinson found he was supplying fentanyl and cocaine in the Goldsboro area. Evidence gathered during the investigation provided probable cause for warrants and led to Robinson’s arrest.
According to warrants, Robinson is accused of selling drugs near a child care center.
Robinson faces multiple charges, including four counts of trafficking opium or heroin, two counts of trafficking cocaine, and several counts related to the sale, delivery, and possession with intent to sell Schedule II controlled substances. He is also charged with multiple counts of selling or possessing controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school.
Robinson is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail.
