FLORIDA — A traffic stop in Lee County led to the arrest of a woman after deputies said they discovered more than 44 grams of cocaine in a vehicle, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said they stopped a vehicle Tuesday after seeing it swerving in and out of lanes.

Body camera video released by the sheriff’s office shows a deputy approaching the passenger side of the vehicle and asking the driver and passenger for their names.

Authorities said deputies planned to use a K-9 unit to search the vehicle and asked both occupants to step outside.

As the passenger exited the car, deputies said they noticed her allegedly attempting to conceal drugs, which then fell onto the floor of the vehicle.

Investigators said the substance inside the baggie tested positive for cocaine.

During a search of the vehicle, deputies said they also found a shoebox in the trunk containing cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities identified the suspect as Jacqueline Stacy. Deputies said all of the drugs belonged to her.

Stacy was arrested and taken to jail, where she faces multiple charges.

The investigation remains ongoing.
