
NORTH CAROLINA — A 19-year-old Onslow County man is facing felony charges after authorities say he cut another man’s throat with a knife or other sharp object.
According to arrest warrants, Robert Crocker was arrested overnight by deputies with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities allege Crocker used a knife or sharp object to cut a man’s throat, causing serious bodily injury.
Crocker has been charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury. He also faces a charge of resisting a public officer.
Court records indicate Crocker resisted a deputy’s commands during his arrest and was taken to the ground and handcuffed by law enforcement officers.
He was booked into the Onslow County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
Crocker is scheduled to make a court appearance Wednesday.
