MINNESOTA — Several Minnesota public school districts are wrapping up the 2025-26 school year this week, with official calendars showing final student days on May 28 or May 29.
Minnewaska Area School District’s official calendar lists Thursday, May 28, 2026 as the “Last Day of School.” The calendar also schedules graduation commencement for May 29.
Pillager School District’s approved 2025-26 calendar lists Friday, May 29, 2026 as the “Last Day of School for Students.”
St. Clair Public School’s district calendar also lists May 29, 2026 as a “2-Hr Early Release / Last Day of School.”
Hastings Area School System’s district calendar lists Friday, May 29, 2026 as a “HALF DAY – Last Day of School.”
The calendars mean students in those Minnesota districts are beginning summer break by the end of the week, while teachers and staff continue with graduations, workdays and end-of-year activities after classes conclude.
