OHIO — Four people were injured, including one person critically, in an overnight shooting in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati, according to the Cincinnati Police Department.
Police said officers responded just before 2 a.m. Tuesday to the 4000 block of Hamilton Avenue after reports of a shooting.
Investigators said officers found four people suffering from gunshot wounds at multiple scenes, including the Northside transit center on Hamilton Avenue.
According to police, three victims were taken to local hospitals. One person was listed in critical condition, while two others were reported in stable condition. A fourth victim refused treatment at the scene.
Authorities said the area around the transit center was blocked off for several hours Tuesday morning as officers investigated, but reopened shortly before 6:20 a.m.
Police said investigators are still working to develop a suspect description. Officials believe the shooting was an isolated incident and said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing.
