
OHIO — Four people were hospitalized early Monday morning after a suspected stolen vehicle caused a three-car crash on Cleveland’s West Side, according to the Cleveland Division of Police.
Police said officers responded around 6:40 a.m. to the crash near West 37th Street and Denison Avenue in Cleveland.
Investigators said a vehicle believed to be stolen failed to stop at a stop sign and caused the collision. The suspected stolen vehicle was being driven by a 17-year-old boy, with a 16-year-old girl riding as a passenger.
According to police, the vehicle was then struck by two other cars driven by a 63-year-old man and a 30-year-old man.
All four people involved in the crash were transported to a hospital by Cleveland EMS. Authorities said the extent of their injuries has not yet been determined.
The Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
