FLORIDA — The Paddock Mall was closed Sunday after an incident involving a firearm, according to the Ocala Police Department.
Police said an altercation occurred between two individuals inside the mall Sunday afternoon. During the incident, one of the individuals reportedly brandished a firearm.
Authorities said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.
The mall remained closed for the rest of the day while officers continued their investigation at the scene.
Police have not released information about any arrests or the identities of those involved. The investigation remains ongoing.
