Body found in Pennsylvania, investigation underway

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a homicide after a man’s body was found Saturday morning in Londonderry Township.

According to state police, troopers and the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office were dispatched around 10 a.m. to the 1800 block of River Road, also known as State Route 441.

Investigators said the body of an unidentified man was discovered under a blanket off the shoulder of the southbound lanes.

Authorities described the victim as a white male believed to be in his 30s or 40s, standing about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing roughly 210 pounds. He had dark brown hair, facial hair and brown eyes.

Police said the man was wearing black shorts and a black Oakland Raiders shirt when he was found.

State police said the death is being investigated as a homicide and troopers in Harrisburg are actively working to identify the victim.
