TEXAS — A body was discovered along the shoreline of Buffalo Bayou on Thursday morning, according to the Houston Fire Department.
Firefighters initially responded to a rescue call in the area of Marcario Garcia Drive. However, the situation was later upgraded to a recovery after crews located a body along the south bank of the bayou.
Authorities secured the scene at Buffalo Bend Nature Park as the investigation began.
The identity of the individual has not been released, and officials have not provided details on the circumstances surrounding the death.
